Five Fab Freebies: Autism Awareness

Since April is Autism Awareness month, I thought it’d be a great idea to share some autism freebies.  Here’s what I came up with:

Autism Awareness Handout from The Speech Bubble.  This is a great handout for increasing autism awareness.  It contains basic information about autism, in addition to communication tips and other resources.

Autism awareness worksheets from Autism Educators.  The worksheets for children help promote understanding and acceptance.

Autism Awareness Mini Reader & Lesson Companion from Primarily Au-Some.  This is a fabulous book that helps students understand how their peers might be affected by autism.

Free Chevron Middle-High School Autism Classroom Area Signs from Christine Reeve. This set includes 5 free area signs to add bright colors to your special education classroom. How fun!

Autism Awareness: Visual Schedule Freebie by SPED Like A Boss. This freebie helps to assist students in your classroom who have autism.

What great materials! Have fun using them and feel free to share this post with others to increase autism awareness!  If you’re interested in some more great freebies head on over to speechie freebies for their FridayFreeBEES linky party.
