I’m really excited to share these amazing Thanksgiving freebies with you this week! If you’re looking for some new Thanksgiving materials, I’ve got you covered! Please don’t forget to browse around in the featured stores to see what other great products they have to offer.
1) Free Thanksgiving Comparing and Contrasting Then and Now by Susan Berkowitz. Students read or listen to a brief narrative about the differences between Thanksgiving now and then. Then they practice comparing/contrasting and telling what is the same/different. The activity can be done written or verbally.
2) A Plate Full of Thanksgiving Craftivity by The Dabbling Speechie. Have fun with this freebie craftivity! Students cut out and glue the plate and utensils on a piece of craft paper. Then, they write out or draw words with their target sound on the plate. Extra plates included for more activities!
3) I’m Thankful For TH Freebie by Teach Speech 365. Working on the /th/ sound? This is a perfect way to get in some extra practice!
4) Print ‘N’ Play Thanksgiving by Gold Country SLP. No color ink required! These freebie includes two generic game boards that are Thanksgiving themed. Game markers included. Great for working on any activity. SLPs – you can use these while working on pronouns – he/she/they/it.
5) Main Ideas and Supporting Details {A Feast of Turkey Topics for Thanksgiving} by Speech Snacks. This contains a simple visual aid page, topic and main idea cards and writing pages for elaborating with supporting details. Appropriate for upper elementary/middle and even high school students to help with paragraph expansion.
