You might’ve noticed a slight change in the title for this post, which is because I’ve decided to downgrade to doing a sign of the month rather than a sign of the week. It was just more than I could keep up with at the moment, but I wanted to stick with the series at least through the end of the school year! This month’s sign is “work”. I use this sign A LOT, especially when transitioning between doing a structured activity (working) and some more fun (playing). Do you know the sign for play? If not, check out my last post, here.
To sign work, you make two fists and stack your wrists on top of one another, then tap them together. Here is an example, from My Smart Hands:
