Five Fab Freebies – Graphic Organizers

Welcome to my first Five Fab Freebies post and thanks for stopping by!  I hope that you’ll find something that you can use in your speech room or classroom.  This week I’ve decided to feature some great graphic organizer freebies on TpT.  Here are the goodies that I rounded up:

1) Making Inferences from The Teacher Treasury – This organizer has the student write down what they know from the text and what they know in their mind.  Then, they use that information to generate an inference.

2) Compare & Contrast by Stories by Storie –  This is a great organizer that provides two Venn diagrams, in addition to a regular worksheet with a box and t-chart to compare and contrast.

3) Graphic Organizers for Reading Comprehension by The Second Grade Scoop – This is a wonderful set of SEVEN graphic organizers.   The set includes organizers for the following: retelling, main idea, sequencing, plot, comparing/contrasting, predicting, and characters/setting.

4) WH Graphic Organizer from The Teacher Treasury – This is a cute organizer to use when asking WH-questions about a text.

5) Graphic Organizer for Summarizing from Wendy Smith – This organizer is great for breaking down the steps for summarizing information.

I hope that you all enjoy these great freebies I’ve dug up.  What other freebies would you like to see featured on upcoming posts?
