Preschool Stuttering: When to Intervene

Preschool stuttering can make some speech therapists nervous.  When a young child who stutters is brought into our office, what do we do?  Since it is pretty much impossible to determine which cases will spontaneously resolve, we need to try to predict the likelihood of the stuttering becoming problematic.  In episode 19, I talk about when we might intervene or when we might watch and wait.  Check below for your FREE preschool stuttering handout.
