Sign of the Week: Toilet

Hope you all are having a great start to your week today!  This week’s sign is “toilet”.  As usual, it is a very functional sign that can be used with your kiddos.  If you are familiar with the ASL alphabet, then you actually already know the sign, it is just the letter “t”, but with some movement.  If you’re not familiar, you just place the tip of your thumb between your second and third finger (on the same hand), then close your hand into a fist.  So, to make the sign for toilet, you make the letter “t”, then quickly move your hand from side to side.  If you’d like to see a demo, here’s one from ASL Vocabulary:
