The Digital SLP blog
Hi everyone! Welcome to the Digital SLP blog – a blog for speech-language pathologists. My name is Jessica Cassity, a certified speech-language pathologist and the founder of the Digital SLP® membership site. I started to create my speech therapy materials when running a social skill group a few years ago. I fell in love with it as it allows me to tap into my creative side. It gives me such a sense of pride to develop something that I know will help clients reach their goals. I have not looked back ever since and have continued to curate and personalize speech therapy resources to meet my client’s learning needs. Soon, 10s turned into 100s, and now we have close to 1000 web-based speech therapy resources on our membership site.
Two reasons why I have developed this blog:
1) to share information and ideas with those experiencing speech-language disorders
2) to connect with other speech pathologists
I will be posting on many different topics, so please keep checking back. Whether you are a speech-language pathologist or a parent, you can expect blog articles on “how-tos”, freebies, theme-inspired therapy ideas and activities, and the latest trend and tools for teletherapy. I look forward to you joining me on my blogging journey!
Are you always on the run and want to be in the loop for new speech therapy ideas and inspirations? I have put together a free Digital SLP podcast to share insight and tips on implementing your speech therapy sessions. For those seeking fun and interactive speech therapy materials that students and SLPs both will adore, check out what the Digital SLP® membership site has to offer or sign up for our free trial now.
Please note: This is not intended to be medical advice or to take the place of any form of therapy. Please see your local physician or speech-language pathologist if you have specific issues or concerns.
