TpT Shining Stars Linky Party

SLP Runner is hosting a great linky party in honor of the upcoming TpT sale!  If you didn’t know, on August 20th TpT is having a BTS sale.  Most stores discount their items, and if you use the promo code, you get an extra 10% off!  So, what are some of my favorite items in my store?  Let’s take a look…

First up is Be A Predicting Ninja.  This is a really fun way to keep students engaged while working on prediction skills.  In addition to a fun game, there are also graphic organizers to help practice making predictions.

Next, is Compliment Me.  This is a great social skills activity for working on giving a compliment.  The activity contains: a foldable book that lists the steps for giving a compliment, a poster that shows the steps for giving a compliment, a sorting activity, a sequencing activity, and 20 different scenarios to provided opportunities for giving a compliment.

Some of my favs from other sellers are:

Building Block Sentences by Teach Speech 365.  This is a great way to work on expanding sentences.  The building block theme is sure to keep your students interested!

WH-Questions Interactive Book by Speechy Musings.  This is a great activity for working on WH-questions with students who may have previously had a really hard time with these concepts.  The visuals are great for those with limited expressive language skills (ie. they can point to their answer rather than verbalize it), and the examples provided serve as great models.

Those are my suggestions for some great products that are out there.  I’d love to hear what you’re go-to products are!  Don’t forget to check out the linky party for more great ideas from other SLPs!
