What’s In Your Cart? Linky Party

Speech Room News is hosting a linky party in honor of the upcoming sale this week.  If you didn’t already know, TpT is having a sitewide sale where you can save up to 28% on materials.  How great is that?  I’ve been wishlisting things ever since I first learned about the sale and I’m really excited to share what I plan to purchase and what I think you might like from my store.  First, I’ll share what I think you might like to snag from my store during the sale.

With St. Patty’s Day is coming up, I think that my St. Patty’s Day “Lucky Green Idioms” Packet would be perfect for those that need to work on figurative language.

Since winter seems to keep dragging on and on, my Snag the Snowman Game is a great and fun way to work on s-blends.

The last thing I think you might like is my brand new Fluency Survival Pack.  It’s got approximately 60 usable pages!  Some of what’s included: data tracking sheets, a fun self-awareness game for younger students, worksheets to address feelings and chart goals, handouts for parents and students to better understand strategies and techniques, and plenty of treatment activites.

OK, now time for the fun part.  What’s in MY cart?

First up is Evidence Based Practice-Quick Reference by Carissa Ten Hoeve of Home Sweet Speech Room.  I have a lot of parents that will ask about the research to back up a given treatment method or I’ll have them ask if it’s evidence based.  While I know what I’m doing is backed by research, I’m not always able to site the research off the top of my head.  So, I think this will be an AWESOME resource to have.

Next, is Speech Tube: A YouTube Speech & Language Companion Packet by Jenna Rayburn of Speech Room News.  The idea of incorporating YouTube videos into therapy is just fabulous!  What better way to keep kids interested?  I’m excited to see what this packet has in store!

Another item in my cart is Tackling Apraxia: CV & CVC Early Sounds Edition by Mia McDaniel of putting words in your mouth.  I think this activity looks like so much fun!  The cute characters and games are sure to keep my young students involved.

Lastly, I have the No Print Interactive /R/ Articulation Story from Speech-A-Saurus.  I think this is extra cool for two reasons, 1) It’s low maintenance because it’s no print, and 2) it’s interactive.  I can’t wait to try it out!

So, that’s just the tip of the iceberg, because I’m still shopping around.  Who can resist a sale?  Happy shopping!
